Edit a Customer
How to Edit an existing Customer
You can edit a Customer in the Administration / Customers menu.
This document will focus on how to "Edit" an existing Customer from the Administration / Customers menu.
In order to "Edit" a customer, first locate the Customer that is to be edited. This can be done using the Filters supplied in the Administration / Customers menu.
In this case the Customer to be edited is called "test1234"
Click on the Customer to highlight it.
Click the
button on the top left-hand side of the screen. Highlighted above.This will open the "Edit Customer" screen.
After the "Edit Customer" screen is opened, it is now possible to edit "Customer Info" and "Billing Info" tabs.
Customer Information - Contains general information about the Customer.
Billing Information - Contains financial information about the Customer.
NOTE: It is best practice NOT to change and field marked with a ' * '
Edit the necessary fields for the Customer.
After editing the customer it is now time to save the changes made.
Click the
button to save changes made to the Customer.(Optionally) Click the
button to cancel changes made to the Customer.NOTE: It is best practice to double-check any changes made after "saving". Use the filters to access the customer again. Verify / Validate changes made.
You have now successfully edited a Customer.
In Summary
- Select the Customer that is to be edited.
- Click the
button to open the "Edit Customer" screen.- Update / Change the relevant fields.
- Save the update / changes made to the Customer
- Double check that update / changes are correct for the Customer.
