Remove a Tariff Cost

How to Remove a Tariff Cost. 


   You can remove a Tariff Cost in Administration / Tariff Cost menu.


This document will focus on how "Remove" an existing Tariff Cost from the Administration / Tariff Cost menu.

In order to "Remove" a Tariff Cost, first locate the Tariff Cost that is to be removed. Go to Administration / Tariff Cost menu. Find the Tariff Cost that is to be removed.

In this case the Tariff Cost is called "test1234"

Click on the Tariff Cost to highlight it.

Next, "right-click" on the Tariff Cost. This will open a pop-up menu "Mark as Inactive"

Click on "Mark Inactive" to mark the Tariff Cost as "Inactive".


NOTE: Tariff Cost may NOT be removed if they are a default for a supplier. Remove the default Tariff Cost from the supplier before removing the Tariff Cost from the system.

After marking the Tariff Cost as "Inactive" you notice the Tariff Cost 'disappears' from the Administration . Tariff Cost menu. To view the Tariff Cost simply click the "Show Inactive" button.

You may also use the Audit Trail to confirm that the Tariff Cost is marked as "inactive". Go to the Administration / Audit Trial to view the changes made.


In Summary

- Select the Tariff Cost to be removed.

- Right-Click on the Tariff Cost to open pop-up menu.

- Click "Mark Inactive"

- Check Tariff Cost is marked "inactive" by clicking the "Show inactive" or by checking the Audit Trail.
