Columns on the order screen

The Order screen is broken into two tabs. Recurring and Templates.

  1. Recurring is where “milk run” or recurring runs are managed and sent to dispatch. As these runs are sent, the screen auto creates the next sequence of these runs. (You can find more about them here - https://stratum.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/~821518579/pages/2765684953 )

  2. Templates is where we have frequently used jobs, that we want to send to dispatch based upon customer contracts.

Recurring jobs are set runs

  1. that don’t change.

  2. they have a given frequency and schedule pattern.

  3. they can be processed as batches.

Templates are jobs

  1. that can change.

  2. have variable frequency and scheduling patterns.

  3. they are processed as individual templates, with an editor panel, which also allows you to make multiple copies.

 

The columns available on both screens

The Recurring screen and Templates screen have the same fields, with two exceptions.

The Mark field is only on recurring jobs

  1. to allow you to select multiple jobs to send to dispatch

  2. as this then auto created the next sequence of jobs.

The Product Unit Charge is only on the Templates

  1. to allow for variable charges for the same job

  2. as this screen has an optional editor to adjust the job before it is sent to dispatch.
