Dispatch Screen Overview
The dispatch screen overview.
The dispatch screen is the main screen in the dispatch module.
With a bit of practice the screen will allow you to visualise your work and planning with ease, by simply using the filters and marking the “tasks” on the jobs as finished when you have assigned the action.
The dispatch screen – Functions
The dispatch screen shows “active jobs only”. If the job is finished it will move to the finished queue.
NB ** Upon go live this is the number one support call**. Please note that a completed job is not a finished job.
There are a range of functions available to you as a planner for the dispatch screen. These functions are specific to the role that is performed as the planner.
- Create new job, using the green “add” button is a common one.
- However once you get used to the concept of “templates” this is a button you will only use on occasion.
- Edit a job, this is a double click on any job on the screen.
The main items to know about are (From left to right):-
Job count, which will count the current jobs you have selected with any filter.
Refresh button, Add Job, Start Job (if you are staging and confirming work), send message, date filter, job type filter, apply (selected to plan), today/tomorrow filter.
The right side of the screen shows the “SMS” active icon, the column chooser, export to excel and search screens.
