Add a Groupage Job from Dispatch Screen

How to add a Groupage Job from the Dispatch screen.

You can create a Groupage Job  from the Dispatch / Main menu.

This document will focus on how to "Add" a Groupage Job from the Dispatch / Main menu.

When in the Dispatch / Main menu, click the  button located in the top left-hand corner of the screen, highlighted below.

This will open the "Job Screen".

As seen above, there are several sections within the "Job Screen" such as;

- Customer

- Job References

- Job & Resource Details

- Subcontracting

- Job Info

- Action Window

- Actions

- Documents

- Charge

We will now discuss these sections.

Customer

This section is located in the top left-hand corner of the "Job Screen".

Notice that when the "Job Screen" is launched the only field available that you are able to interact with is the "A/C Ref:" field. In this field you will select the Customer for the Job.

NOTE: If the "A/C Ref:" field is empty, go to the "Add a Customer" article to be sown how to add a customer to the system.

After selecting the Customer, Stratum will automatically fill in the Customer Details, example below;

Job References

In this section you will enter "References" for the job.

Actions

The next section is the "Actions" section. From here, you can add actions such as Collections, Deliveries, Shipping and Start / Via / End Points to the Job Screen.

We will now add a "Collection" action to the Job.

Collection

Click the  button, located on the far-left side of the action buttons. This will launch the "Multi-Drop Job" screen, example below.

There are four sections within the "Multi Drop Job" screen, for now we will focus on the "Collection Details", "Item Details", "Delivery Details" sections.

Collection Details

The Collection Details screen is already partially filled because Stratum already has the Customer collection information from the "A/C Ref:" field that has already been entered from previous steps.

Continue to enter the relevant information for the "Collection Details" section.

NOTE: You can verify that the job is a "Groupage" job by checking if the "Groupage" check box is checked. The Groupage check box is beneath the "Release Ref:" field in Collection Details. Example below.

Item Details

The first Item Details section is where you enter details about the item for collection. The second Item Details section is where "Collection" and "Delivery" details are stored after saving a Collection and Delivery.

Enter the relevant information for the Item Details.

NOTE: You can set temperature requirements by using the "Set Point" field / "Arrow", example of arrow below.

Delivery Details

Start with the "Address Code" field. This will open a drop down menu with a list of available Customers that you may deliver to. Once the customer has been selected Stratum will partially fill the rest of the fields with the selected customer information. Enter the remaining fields to complete the "Delivery Details" section.

Once complete, it is now time to save the actions. Click on the  button,  located in the right-hand side of the screen.
