Add a Full-Load Job from Dispatch Screen

How to add a Full-Load Job from the Dispatch screen.

  You can create a Full-Load  Job  from the Dispatch / Main menu.

This document will focus on how to "Add" a Full-Load  Job from the Dispatch / Main menu.

When in the Dispatch / Main menu, click the  button located in the top left-hand corner of the screen, highlighted below.

This will open the "Job Screen".

As seen above, there are several sections within the "Job Screen" such as;

- Customer

- Job References

- Job & Resource Details

- Subcontracting

- Job Info

- Action Window

- Actions

- Documents

- Charge

We will now discuss some of these sections.

Customer

This section is located in the top left-hand corner of the "Job Screen".

Notice that when the "Job Screen" is launched the only field available that you are able to interact with is the "A/C Ref:" field. In this field you will select the Customer for the Job.

NOTE: If the "A/C Ref:" field is empty, go to the "Add a Customer" article to be shown how to add a customer to the system.

After selecting the Customer, Stratum will automatically fill in the Customer Details, example below;

Job References

 In this section you will enter "References" for the job.

Actions

The next section is the "Actions" section. From here, you can add actions such as Collections, Deliveries, Shipping and Start / Via / End Points to the Job Screen.

We will now add a "Collection" action to the Job.

Collection

Click the  button, located on the far-left side of the action buttons. This will launch the "Multi-Drop Job" screen, example below.

The Job type at the moment is set to "Groupage", click the Groupage "Check Box" to change the Job type to a Full-Load Job. The "Check Box" is located on the left-hand side of the screen, beneath the "Release Ref:" field in the Collection Details section. Example below;

(Check Box is "checked", Job is Groupage)

(Check Box is now "Un-Checked", Job is Full-Load)

When the Groupage "Check Box" is "Unchecked" the Multi-Drop Screen changes to a "Full-Load Job" screen, example below;

The Collection Details screen is already partially filled because Stratum already has the Customer collection information from the "A/C Ref:" field that has already been entered from earlier.

Continue to enter the relevant information for the "Collection Details" section.

After completing the fields, you will now save the Collection action for the Full Load Job.

Click the  button to save / add the Collection action.

(Optionally) Click the  button to cancel saving / adding the Collection action.

After saving the Collection action you will return to the "Job Screen". The next task is to add a delivery to the Full-Load job.

Delivery

Click the  button, located on the left-hand side of the actions buttons. This will launch another Full-Load Job screen, this time for Delivery Details.

Start with the "Address Code" field. This will open a drop down menu with a list of available Customers that you may deliver to. Once the customer has been selected Stratum will partially fill the rest of the fields with the selected customer information. Enter the remaining fields to complete the "Delivery Details" section.

NOTE: If the "Address Code"is empty, go to the "Add an Address Template" article to be shown how to add an Address Template for a Customer.
