Remove a Resource from a Job

`How to Remove a Resource from a Job.


 You can remove a Resource from a Job from the Dispatch / Main menu.


In order to remove a Resource in a Job, you must locate the Job first. Use the "Filters" provided in the Dispatch / Main menu to do this. Example below;

You can open the job by:

- Double-clicking the job that you wish to open.

- Right-clicking on the job, then click "Open Job".  

When the job is open you will see a job screen similar to the image below.

Click the  button to open the "Manage Resources" screen to begin removing the resource. Example of "Manage Resources" screen, below:

To remove the resource from the job click the  button located on the right hand side of the "Manage Resources" screen. 

This will prompt a "Confirmation Screen" to appear, example below:

Click the  button to confirm that you wish to remove the resource from the job.

(Optionally) Click  button to cancel removing the resource.

Continue to remove resources where necessary. Once complete, click the  button to save the changes made to the "Manage Resources" screen.


The changes will be reflected in the "Manage Resources" window in the "Job Screen". Example below:

From here you may continue editing the Job as you wish.

In Summary:

- Locate the Job with the desired Resource, use the filters provided.

- Open the job to begin editing. 

- Click the  button to open the "Manage Resource" screen.

- Click the  button, located in the right-hand corner of the screen.

- Click  to confirm you wish to remove the resource. 

- Click  to save the changes made to the "Manage Resource" screen.

- Verify changes by viewing the "Manage Resource" window. 


NOTE: It is best practice to double-check the Resource that has been removed. To do this simply:

- Go to Administration / Audit

- Check the Audit Trail to verify that the resources have been removed.
